"Live Beyond Your Expectations"

Coaches instill confidence and optimism which is key to accelerating recovery for those overcoming injuries.

Why learn to teach Adaptive Golf?

There are over 52 million people in the U.S. with a disability (that's 1 in every 5 persons).  Someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds and is the leading cause of serious, long-term disability.  Approximately 4 million Military Veterans have a service-connected disability rating.  Approximately 30 out of every 100 Vietnam Veteran and 460,000 Afghanistan / Iraq war veterans will be diagnosed for PTSD; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and it isn’t exclusive to the military, about 8 million adults have PTSD during a given year (

Adaptive golf applications have become regarded by therapists and doctors as a key rehabilitation and therapeutic outlet to enhance physical, sensory, social and emotional well-being, the critical components in the recovery process.

You could be the catalyst to help so many in your community by hosting an AGA Coach Training Workshop.

PGA / LPGA Golf Professionals, Teachers/Golf Coaches, Physical, Occupational, and Recreational Therapists and Clinicians from Veterans/civilian hospitals across the country have attended our Coach Training Workshops to become trained coaches and be a part of their community adaptive golf programs.

Our Team of award-winning Adaptive Golf Instructors have extensive coach-player training and program development experiences from the past 20 years, which has made the Adaptive Golf Academy known as the authority on accrediting coaches to teach individuals with adaptive needs safely and effectively. We are committed to helping you and your team/organization learn whats needed to develop an adaptive golf program and impact more lives through the great game of golf!

Adaptive golf truly is for ANYONE, regardless of age, gender, race, ability, or level of experience and/or challenge.  From the ever-so-common "bad back" and/or arthritic issues in aging golfers to much more major circumstances such as loss of limb, joint replacement, traumatic brain / spine injuries, vision loss and more, we aim to help individuals find their way back onto the course. Our approach is to properly evaluate the student and apply their abilities along with any modifications needed via technique, equipment and/or training aids in a safe, effective manner to reach their fullest potential.

Your support, encouraging others through adaptive golf, helps them find their way back to the fairways of life!
